Stripped Cutlass Machete

Me likey. I've been beating my Grass Machete and Cutlass pretty well. I think strip jobs are in order pretty soon.

Glad you like it. I started working on it today again, its a guinea pig for an etching experiment.

All this thread makes me want is to buy a new Cutlass with the new etched logo and coating, then leave it as-is.

Etched

First stages. It still needs a little more stripping in those hard-to-reach corners and some more Scotch-Brite rubbing.

Those both look sweet guys! Maybe one of these days I will try this out, kinda dig the battle scars though. That skull etch is freaking insane!

Wow! Those machete's are lookin pretty sharp! Pretty sharp...get it?
Keep up the good work.

Great job man...The cutlass is one of my favorite kabars....Just holding it makes me want to giggle with mischevious glee.... :D

Wow, I think that's the first cutlass I've seen stripped. That looks awesome.

Thats guys. I will be redoing this etching because it did not go "deep" enough for me.

I like this guy.

Seems like its a good weight to chopping power ratio. Does this thing tear up wood better than a CS hawk? I've been debating on one of those given the cheap price on the hawk. Further, it is a nice multifunction tool. But, this cutlass weighs just over a pound and the cost isn't too steep for me.

Im not sure how it would chop against the hawk. I have both I should find out!
