I got the email today. I have a competition grade Sarsquatch coming in from the Humpoganza. But I didn't know I would score, so I had this black one that came in today from a friend who got it at Blade. It needed a little sharpening.

That was much better, but the black coating made my every little sharpening imperfection stand out. So...

I stripped it. I like it.

Not a REAL competition grade. But it will cut.:D

Looks scary sharp, I like the polished edge. Looks way better stripped IMO.

Thanks, guys. I am pleased with it. None of my edges are ever perfect, but I'm getting better with the Chinese belt sander. And I like the look to bare INFI, polished or not.

Horn Dog, how did you finish off to the high polish? I just did my black squatch a few days ago, but doesn't have quite the luster yours does.

Great job:thumbup:

You'll have to put a little shine on your incoming CE to make it look that good.

Horn Dog you have turned that into a SGSAR [south georgia SARsquatch].
Good looking knife.

Makes me wish I'd bought a black one at BLADE along with my CG!

Nice job, bro.

Looks great. Gonna do that to mine eventually. Makes me wish I would have picked up another black at the Ganza instead of the CE.

Thank you all. I was going to just buff the spine and tang edges, but I got a wild hair and sanded them. This was an easy job, not too many hard curves to get the belt into.

I just have this thing for shiny edges I guess.

As far as the raw dimpled INFI on the flats, I like it.
