So i took my mnandi appart and when putting it back together i had some trouble tightening the clip screw. I figured i had to use some extra pressure, but i ended up completely stripping my screw. I now know what cause it, it has a perfect fit ring around the screw wich has to be fit in the handle before tightening. Anyhow, my mnandi is back together, but my clip screw is completely stripped, almost a round hole now. Anyway, i've tried to contact crk by mail for a week now, but they just dont respond.

help appreciated!

Have you tried smoke signals?

I'm sure they'll get back to you. They are usually dead on about it. I'm about to call them about something so i'll see if they got your emails.

They are checking for your emails. Take a peek in your spam box, something from them could be in there.

if it makes you feel any better, I did the exact same thing on my Mnandi.

they replied to me and i tought i'd share their reply because it really shows how concerned they are with their customers. I wish there were more manufacturers like this!

"I have spoken with Chris and showed him the picture you sent and unfortunately we will need you to send the knife back to us. I have attached some information about sending your knife into our shop. If you have any questions please let me know.

We will need to drill out the screw and we have the specialty tools to remove them properly. We apologize for this inconvenience and we will refund your shipping costs. We would also like to send you a free t-shirt if you will please provide us with your shirt size.

Are you planning on carrying your Mnandi with or without the clip? Because we can also send your knife back to you with a clip replacement screw if you do not intend to carry the knife with the clip attached.

Again please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Angela"

She replaced Jessica :(...However, she's been wonderful (as with all of CRK's staff)

Just makes you feel good to know there are companies out there that take pride in what they make sell. I have always had great service from CRK's.
