Stripped Ratmandu ?

Has anyone stripped their Ratmandu yet? if so please post some photos! what is the texture of the steel like under the coating (micro-pits or smooth)?

Oddly, I haven't seen any pics or heard of anyone stripping their RMD yet.
I "WILL" strip my RMD :thumbup:, but I just haven't had time to get around to it yet.

I feel pretty confident that it is like pretty much all other rats: relatively smooth with some amount of grind lines at the primary grind and fairly pitted on the flat sides.

Mckrob - We now have expectations for you to get busy and have pics posted this weekend.

I am going to give it a try, but I only have my black/black one with me in Peru, I left my black/grey one back in Canada and it's the one I want to strip... it may have to wait a few weeks until I get back home mid-Oct.

I was thinking this as well - why anyone has stripped yet? ...That was a couple of months ago - Here's the strip and the final removed - haven't sanded yet.
