Stripped TGLB

Just stripped my TGLB! So, how do I tell if all the decarb is gone? Do they remove it before coating?

Looks like most of it is gone but it is not near as shinny as my CF finish.
 
Mine is coming in a week or so, what did you use to strip it? How did you manage to keep the logo intact? Looks real nice!!
 
Dang that looks good! I love the gray look, is it the light or does it look that way in person?

The decarb on my Jackhammer was shiny not gray. It did rust VERY easily, you might pick a spot and try to induce a patina and see how fast if anything happens.
 
I am guessing they may have blasted it a little for the coating to stick better.

Looks that way in person too! I was very hesitant to strip it, but I'm very glad i did.
