I had to get it from a specialty electronics store at the recommendation of the local Radio Shack.
As long as the etchant you are referring to is Ferric Chloride it should work fine.

I've used radio shacks echant as well as muriatic acid to etch blades. Muriatic is faster and cheaper. I have not etched a busse though.
