Stripper Report: New ScrapMuk & PH

I really like INFI dimples and some grind marks on stripped Busse's. I think it adds character to the knife. To each his own I guess, looks like you did a good job.

Did you want me to pm or email you my address? Either way please mark the box IRS form's 1099.

That is going to look awesome when you are done. Are you still going for a stonewash finish?

Haha, thx brother. I'm actually quite pleased with how the satin is turning out so no stonewash this time.

you might want to try the hand rubbing method for the last couple grit's of paper. as long as the surface is some what even. it will save a whole bunch of belt time trying to get it all the same. there is no shame in hiding a spot or two. you are just going to use it anyway.

I might give that a shot. The 80 grit didnt leave it all that rough since I crossed the grain a couple times, it should be easy to work by hand.

I replied to your email btw. Sorry I took so long, for some reason it ended up in spam.

with hand rub, you can adjust it to get as much or little of the aera as you want.

type at ya in the morn. pabst is kicking in. also it is wing night.

Just a stripper report for those contemplating stripping their blades.

This is what the new orange handle scrap muk looks like under the black coating. As soon as I found out this was 154cm I knew had stripping potential.

How thick is that stripped Muk?
