Stripping the new powder coating

Nice work.

The spine is tough to get every bit of coating off.

Wrap some 150~220 sandpaper around a flat file and that'll take it right off.

I use a razor blade...fresh new one almost peels it off. What's left in the grind lines is fine by me. A bit of 80 grit cleans it up.

Looking great! Yeah, that little bit is fine. You can also tape some low grit to a flat surface and work it that way. Did that on my 12 and worked great...

I've always used some aerosol stripper.
It works the fastest in a warm environment. Halogen light up close works well in the garage.
5-15 minutes later, take a razor blade to it and it peels off like electrical tape.
