Striving For The Perfect Neck Knife

You know, a 3 (without the cutter along the top) in the length of the 14, with flat G10 scales would just be the sh/t.

I thought the same thing a while back and came up with this...

Let me know what you think, one of my first attempts at knife making. I use it all the time at work for cutting and prying and it holds up great. I've handed it to teammates and told them to abuse it and it always impresses. I'm just glad my heat treat and luck matched up.

Remember those weird tanto shaped 11/14 sheaths that came out with the square tip? Did some searching around and I guess it was for a proto that didnt make it. I guess the sheath still worked for the 11's so they sent them out with that. Basically Good Becker Prototypes, or Tweener Prototypes, or Becker Necker Prototypes and you will find it... it was called the Micro tactul or something... basically an 11 with tanto chisel tip. Ill see if I can find the thread.

Found it... Here is a bunch of Becker Proto's... The Mini Tactul is down the page. A black and white scan photo.

Great knife for the price and excellent quality. You can leave them stock, customize the daylights out of them or anything in between.
