Strong Wire Frame Eyeglasses

Well I hope you find what you are looking for, and if anybody can give me any leads, I'm looking for prescription titanium or stainless steel pilot frames, universal bridge (solid plastic nose piece, not pads), cable temples (curve behind ear). Been searching for years.

I had a pair of Ray-Bans that had cable earpieces. Cable earpieces are great for athletic activities. The never fall off your face.

If you want a frame that won't break get the Memoflex or Flexon types...

Flexon

Flexon 2

They're great...if you're rough with your glasses then these are the ones to get...

I've used loads of titanium glasses and when they bend they're practically unrepairable...depends on extent of the bend...it just doesn't feel the same again even after it's bent back...

It's true about the Oakley's...very hard to get spares...and you're paying a lot of it just for the brand...there are lots of other classier brands...with oakley's you'll look very 'trendy'...don't know whether that's a good thing or not...

I have a pair of titanium MODO rimless frames that I got from Lenscrafters. After eight months they look practically new, in fact, I got the lenses replaced last month and the technician thought they were brand new frames! They're extremely light, the lightest frames I've ever worn. They cost a little over $300 with the anti-glare coated lenses, so standared lenses should be even cheaper. I have a very strong prescription as well, so that may have been part of it. I also highly recommend Lenscrafters, I've been impressed with their service and products.

agree on the Flexon frames, I have a pair of Flexon Marchon frames and they are great. Don't know what they're made of but they are incredibly tough and bend back into shape like nothing I've seen.
