Strongest Folding Knife Lock?

What do you all think is the proven (via testing and everyday use) strongest folding knife lock-mechanism?

By strongest I mean the locking mechanism that makes a folder as close to a fixed blade as possible, and which could handle the greatest levels of closing pressure as possible, with current manufacturable materials?

The Extrema Ratio RAO AVIO has a pin you insert, in addition to the lock, to make it practically impossible to close without blowing apart the handle. But that begs the question if you need that level of strength why not go with a fixed blade?

A lot of those knives, Triad, PowerLock, Axis, etc, will snap their blades off before the lock fails.

Might be impossible to carry a fixed blade. Or the guy just wants to carry a strong folding knife, what's wrong with that?

Balisong, Triad. There might be some more exotic locking systems that are stronger but I'm not familiar with any.

My guess is tri-ad lock by Demko. You can find it in most of Cold Steel blades.

To see how do they fare, check out videos by csknives:

and vininull:

Note: his videos are in Russian, but there are English subtitles so you can turn them on.

I was thinking about this a lot at the beginning, and realized that in situations in which you need extreme lock strength you will more likely snap the blade off or break the pivot. Just additional considerations.

Hope this helps.

Oh, yeah, here we go again. Cold Sssssteel (need more videos) come on baby, whack my spine. Cue face palm meme... Nope! Too out dated! LOL
