strongest tips on Spyderco folders ?

The waved paramilitary 2 has one of the stoutest tips I’ve seen. It’s Sabre ground and the tip is very beefy.

I carried a Imperial KampKing (similar to Pioneer -'cept for Victorinox's much better steel) from age 10 until my early 20's -it got stolen and replaced with another until Blackie Collin's Gerber LST came along about age 30-those took care of me until one hand opening and locking/unlocking knives were inrouduced about my middle thirty's (really handy when you spend too much of your life on a ladder ) - so the virtues of multi-bladed knife/tools are appreciated -but trumped for me by one hand operation and the convenience/utility of being able to discreetly have the knife in the same spot- clipped to my right pocket (my pockets are ridiciously overloaded by 1/2 hour into a work day). I'm lucky to have a local independent outdoor/surplus store that carries a bunch of Spyderco's (about a 8 foot long display case full of hole in blades) -this gives me some idea what to look for/at when I go visit.

My STR/ATR (stock VG-10 blade) has gotten lots of use -many ,many holes bored into plastic boxes -it's thick enough and maybe the VG-10 steel is forgiving enough ? that I've not had a tip fail yet -so no need to regrind the tip. Whole bunch of Spyderco models I'm not familiar with -gonna do some window/screen shopping.

You know, ANY Spyderco will do what you want. All you have to do is spend a few minutes with the diamonds and regrind the tip. Any knife can be given a more robust tip at the expense of what, maybe 1/8" of blade length? Sacrifice, say, a 1/4" at most and you can give any Spyderco a much stronger tip.

Not for nothing, but its pretty easy to reprofile the tip of the spine and drop it a bit to create a more stout tip

No seriously; if your daily task at work is drilling holes in things why not use a drill?

As for other notes; the stouter the tip the less effective it will be at drilling holes in stuff. Example below (middle). Strong tip, great blade, lousy drill.

Been using knives for this routine job task for decades -drills are heavier-tend to over torque screws when used as screwdrivers and are more of a hazard when dropped off a ladder (plus might not bounce well).

Not saying it would be my choice as well, just that he already sort of answered the question.

Well I guess I just have a drill with adjustable torque for hi/low. Along with clutch to fine tune the slip, a battery so I don't trip on the cord and a clip to attach it to a a belt.

It's fine for someone to look for a knife with a strong tip or use a knife to cut a hole in a pinch but I now what I'd be saying if I saw someone constantly boring holes in boxes up on a ladder and I can't post it verbatim in this section.

I'd say "fill your boots" 🤷‍♂️

how has there been ZERO just the tip jokes?

Going out on a limb, but possibly because not everybody feels the need to debase every discussion in the family friendly sections of the forum with innuendo that doesn't demonstrate intelligence or contribute anything useful.
