When sharpening my knife today after using the Spyderco Sharpmaker I thought why not place the strop against the ceramic to get the same strop angle. I also cut out the back of the strop for a better fit on the ceramic. This was not necessary as the strop stayed in place without the undercut in the block of wood. Start at the rear of the blade and draw up and out to strop, keeping the blade at a 90 angle to the table. Just wanted to share this with others.
