I purchased a Large Strop in the Natural Gunstock finish for the wood, IIRC. This is a dual strop. One side for coarse scratch removal and one side for fine polish work.
Decided to choose the black and green compounds for the two sided strop and just skip the white like usual.
I cannot say how pleased I am with this product. I had already mastered the sharpmaker to the best of my abilities.
But wow, I guess I had no idea how much better a strop can be, my old one would only remove and fix a burr. But not polish.
With this new strop and the combination of black and green compound. I can achieve that scary hair splitting edge and an almost mirror finish from this strop alone. All while just chilling out on the couch when I was unwinding from the day.
Thank you for making my sharpening experience that much more fun. I will say to get the large if you EDC and strop blades 3.5 or bigger. The mini is fine as well, but for the few extra dollars, it is money well spent.
THANK YOU!
I can finally finish my edge the way I have been wanting my whole life. No exaggeration.
