**** SOLD ****
Awesome bush sword by Stuart. As received from Stuart in excellent condition with some scuffs from his use. Unfortunately, I have not had the occasion to use or carry the blade.
From Stuarts thread describing his use of the knife and more characteristics about it.
Blade is W2 with a peaked spine and strong distal taper from over 5/16" at the handle with tapered tang and taper to the point. Primarily flat ground then blended into a convex edge it cuts easily and deep. The blade is 14" and the handle a full 6".The handle is white oak that has been "aged" wrapped with hemp coated in epoxy and a turks head knot for a guard. With the weight of all that steel it cuts easily but the length and tapers provide a nice balance with the center of balance about 2" in front of the handle. An afternoon of cutting and burning windfall with no apparent effect on the edge. Still shaving sharp.
