Stuart Branson Tiger and Bamboo Kwaiken

I love the shape of that blade, every line to the very edge...the way it was polished is perfect, it is a silent sky

The attention to detail is impressive. Love this knife/sheath package!!!

The 2 color sheath was a good call and the bamboo looks great. The blade, overall shape, materials, color, and fine points (deer lining of the sheath, natural wrap on the handle) all say this is special.

For me, the menuki is a stand out part of this project. Love that it found its way to you and this knife. Grand stuff

Always love to hear what others see in a hamon. Thanks for your post!

Thanks man! Very much appreciated!

Stuart was very respectful of the menuki and it shows in the finished product. The sheath lining was his idea and I didn't know about it until everything was done. He took it upon himself to ensure that the historical aspect of this piece is taken care of and I can't thank him enough for that. Certainly a testament to his world class talent and character.

yep, stuart is the man!
a lovely menuki, glad that little tiger gets her chance to shine on the omote...
and 100% yes on the no-epoxy, legit ito silk...a beautiful material to look at.
