How did the edges get hotter than then rest of the blade when in an oven? They shouldn't have...

The edge looks like I got a little hot. Did you file test it?

I did a file test and it skates off but takes the blue oxide with it. when i asked about the grain direction i had allredy cut my scales so i decide to complete them and see how it works
