That first photo of the Philosophy major using a kerosene heater indoors isn't a good idea.

Isn't that what they are intended for? It's been a while but I have used one indoors for a whole winter. The only prob I had was stinking of kerosene but it wouldn't be my first trip to stupid town if I'm wrong.
 
Great thread. If I can get my hands on some good bush property , I want to put a sea-can on it , and convert it into a small cabin. Cut windows,insulate,install woodstove,and move right in.
