stuff from Blade08

Anton, it was nice chatting with you at the show. I knew you got the Fiskmuk, but didn't realize you scored all the other beautiful pieces.
Congratulations.

Thanks, Anton! Was great seeing you there.

Guy's, the mammoth ivory isn't cracked, it's just rotten.......in a good way :)

Thanks for the kind words :) Fiskmuk and Hanson are my first slipjoint and forged ones :) :) Fiskmuk is very comfortable in handling it - it really does for hunting purpose. Hanson piece is also beautiful and it has blue liner too (not shown in the picture). There are beautiful pieces on Hanson's table. I am very lucky to score from the masters. Well ... most of my collection are tactical blades ... but I am really amazed with both pieces.

Methinks he was kidding.

Roger
Mehopes he wuz. Don has been intentionally leaving the bark unpolished on some ivory of late to get a kind of "stag" effect. If Mr. Hanson does own any "cracked" ivory that needs to be "salvaged", it is at the botom of his HUGE pile of good stuff. I bought 5 pairs of prsentation grade blue and green scales from him because they were too thick for his thin folders.

A couple close ups of the ivory.
