Everything's cool up until that....

I had a good friend crash on a bicycle and get cut very badly by a smooth ceramic medallion he was wearing on a neck chain. I would not want to depend on a thin piece of rubber to protect me from a sharpened piece of Ti hanging around my neck!

I use the Grimlocks (your second item) on all my Molle-capable bags and packs; they're handy!

Stay sharp,

BoomStick did you try the hooks yet?? Do they hold the rope good enough to prevent slippage??? How about para cord??
I also tried to find them but what Joe ranger site did you find them at??? They seem to be very usefull

I just ordered them . they should be here tommorrow. I am hoping that they hold para cord good. that would make life a lot easier..... I'll make sure that I post some pics of them in use. I am going to go backpacking in two weeks.

Thanks BoomStick i would realy like to know how they worked for you...

Nice score, I would love to pick up some of the D rings for me Maxpedition, awesome addition.

I love Ranger Joes. Their store in Benning is really cool. Great company, very soldier orientated, and definatly reliable.

That rope hook is cool, as is the Ti dogtag. Gonna have to pick those up. I have some of those grimlocks, they are quite handy on my maxpedition bottle holder.....

Thanks for sharing bro!!

If you want a great Ti-dog tag knife, go to www.ratcutlery.com and get one there, I have one and I'm betting the guy that grinds these...might be doing a better job. Besides, it's just plain fun to support Jeff because he is making good stuff. :D

I dont know, Ive wondered that myself. Same with US Cav. The one outside Ft Knox is awesome!!

Regular dog tags usually eventually make their way through those rubber silencers- it takes a while, but it happens. I wouldn't want to wear one of those around my neck. There's probably better options for an altoids tin too...
