Here's a look at what I've been doing for not quite the past month. The large knife I just finished. Its got a 10 1/2" 5160 blade, iron fittings and a curly maple handle. Its 16 1/2" long and weights 21oz.

Thats a nice piece of curly maple there. Is that a faint Hamon on your "americanized" Tanto? Nice Stuff.

Ryan, You are correct about the blade. I just need to finished it up.

The curly maple was done with leather dye and some messing around.
