A lot of exciting things going on of late, scored a stick welder, the shop is currently being wired for it now. between tong orders and finishing up the last of the first batch of cutler's hammers I have been making some new tools and some other projects. Here I snapped some photos tonight, a bowie I will take to complete finish, with no hammer or scale marks left over. It is my first knife EVER that will have no marks of the forging, polished oval shaped guard and nice wood and EVERYTHING. Also is a tool called a pin bender, still have to make up the pins, but you can put little hardened and tempered pins in the little holes and arrange them how you need to make precise repeatable bends, farther apart for long subtle bends close together for tighter bends, i just layed out some 1/4" holes on 1/2" square grid. I will get some 4140 or 1045 for the pins soon. And the last is a teaser photo of a collaborative effort between me and quite a famous bladesmith, but more on that later
.
