stun guns for self defence EDC?

If found these: http://www.jetprotector.com/ to be very effective. Sadly they are really expensive. But why should you save money for something that may save your life. That´s what I told myself, got one, tried it for practice and it really works great. Even in wind and rain and pretty far, up to 7 meters.

My friends and I have had to use out ASP Street Defenders a few times and they have performed well. It is a kubaton with a replaceable OC insert. Key ring on one end so you tend to keep it in your hands rather than a briefcase, pack, purse, etc.
