I've never seen an Olsen, very cool! Good looking cake too!
Happy birthday, Alan!

Publix chocolate cake is fantastic and the top is too small for all the required candles. Makes me feel younger.
Thanks Gary. Lee Olsen, Jr. Made some classic fixed blades.

I have also experienced this “Forum Generosity” of which you speak. And it is a remarkable thing. Social media, webforums, and the general anonymity of the internet itself usually have the effect of driving wedges between people, sometimes over trivial differences. This place has the opposite effect.

Wonderful gesture Stuart and Happy Birthday Alan. I am grateful to be a part of this community.

An awesome gesture. And an interesting knife.... looks Canoe like.
Good catch. I didn't pick up on the similarity.

That is the absolute best part of this place.

Thank you. Totally agree.

Now I'm embarrassed, happy, overjoyed, thankful and more. I just received another birthday package. This one from my good buddy Mark @Ramrodmb. Thank you very much my friend.
The first knife is a Case 300L stainless executive lockback. And the second is a Buck Creek Indian Head Stockman with imitation Pearl (celluloid) handles. I guess I should keep this separated from other knives because of the celluloid. Is that correct?
