GEMSBUCK BOWIE - By Kevin Harvey
Handle of gemsbuck (oryx) horn. Spacers of filed nickel silver and butt cap and collar of ox-wagon wheel rim wrought iron engraved by an Armenian (now living in South Africa), Ruby Abrahamyan consisting of deep relief engraving (quite different to regular engraving, more like carving) and 9 ct gold inlay. The high contrast damascus blade of 10" in "heart-beat" pattern is by Kevin as is the guard. The scabbard is wooden with ostrich leather and nickel silver overlays.
