Stupid Busse Question of The Day!

Still searching for the name origin of Steel Hearts. For my benefit, and for the person at work who asked me that...Cheers.

Just received my latest Heart - ("Collect Them All") - yesterday. A "character worn" HOGFSH. What a beast!...Cheers.

And just purchased a "Devil's ASH1" on Weebay about 1/2 hour ago. Have never seen one in any photo here on BF, so I am assuming it's somewhat rare...Oh, The Humanity!

It's from Henry V:

KING HENRY
O God of battles, steel my soldiers' hearts.
Possess them not with fear. Take from them now
The sense of reck'ning ere th' opposèd numbers
Pluck their hearts from them.

Why are you still searching for the origin?

So Tuica which SH is your favorite so far?
My skinny ash1 and the nmfsh are two of my all time favorite knives.

I am new to the Busseworld, (Sept. 2013), but have learned much here and elsewhere. My first Busse was a Skinny, so that tends to be my basis for comparison. Although I appreciate the HOGFSH for being a heavy chopper, I find it much more difficult to manipulate that the Skinny. The Fusion handle (for my hands), could be wider and shorter.

Since Busse's are only available through limited outlet's, one is forced to research, and order one through here, or Ebay. If it doesn't "fit", back into the sales stream! I have watched the Exchange long enough to see the same Bussekins get purchased by someone - then show up again later for sale. Would be great if one could handle all of the B's before looking to buy one, but such are the circumstances we face.

So...A long answer! But of the two SH's that I have held, I prefer the ASH-1 Skinny. I do also have a TMDSF, and do like that one's handling as well. So...put me down for either " short & fat"...or "long & skinny."

Cheers, T

Cool. As far as limited places to get Busses the WTB section of the exchange is your friend; as well as some members here who have online stores or are dealers on here. As far as eBay goes I only deal with people I know from here and have never had a bad experience.

Thanks for the info, v1. I have been buying and selling many types of items (knives, gun accessories, books, & too many other types to list!), on ebay for years with no problems. If you have the time, see that someone paid about $270 for a Custom Shop ASH-1 (with green wood handles!) in great condition awhile back. In the Completed Section. That's what I watch for! Cheers.
