I recently got the Native S30V. My first ..REAL... knife was a Native. Had trouble opening with my arthritic thumb. Spoke to Sal and he swapped for a Delica that I have had for years now.
However.... the NEW Native has a squarer handle and is EASY for me to open.
BUT.... just as the first Native was so comfy to use and I hated to use any other knife, so also is that ..FIT.. with the new one.
WHICH.... now has me wondering if I will ever carry anything else and somehow has my brain asking why I bought all the other knives I now own when all along all I wanted was that Native feel.
Such a dilemma.
Too many knives.
I do wish the first one had that square cross section as it fits so well.
