Cobalt sounds like as if I get the 18", every tree on my 2 acres in Maine would be in danger. It would look like farmland. Then I would have work for the Paper companies and go onto their land.... And, soon... (shudder... Good coffee. Think I am coming out of this bad dream.)

Sing, I can tell you that the 18 inch A.K. will most definitelly decimate the local fawna. It is an excellent combination of speed and weight and power for chopping. In fact it is now the chopper. The 15 incher is the weed remover. The way I remove weeds is to strike the dirt were the roots are and with one blow, out comes the entire weed, roots and all. This is a lot of fun. Sometimes I'll jam my fist into the ground doing this, but it's worth it.

I gave my uncle the nice unused 15 inch A.K. for his birthday and thought that he could use it to clean out his back yard. When I told him to do so, he said that I was crazy and it was too nice to go and chop with. So it is now a wallhanger. Maybe if I would have given him the well used one, he would have thought differently.
