This thread reminds me of a funny story. I was about 12 or 13. 2 of my friends got into a heated discussion. About opening a can with a knife.

1 friend had a “nut knife”. AKA Jet pilot survival knife. His uncle gave it to him and said he had one like it in the service and used it mostly to open cans. My other idiot friend called BS on the story thinking wrongly that the can was too tough to open with a knife.

So the idiot produces a can of cat food puts it on the coffee table and says “prove it”.

The friend who owned the knife must have had a seed of doubt about his uncles story, because he swung with way too much force and stuck that knife not only through both sides of the can but through the wooden coffee table!

The idiots mother was livid.
