Sub 2" fixed blade suggestions

Everyones knives mentioned here are pretty good choices. Ansø, Allen Blade, Sean Perkins, etc are all great knives at great prices, too. I'm plum out of steel right now, so it'll probably be another week before I can make anything, but email if you want to discuss something. Knives the size you're talking about are my specialty. Sean has a lot of knives available currently, and if Allen is back filling orders then he is sure to have some Chipmunks around. Can't go wrong with Running Dog, either. Check out my website and you can see revuews of them all.

Allen Blade makes some great stuff, his price to craftsmanship ratio is hard to beat. Also look at Kit Carson's stuff for a great quality neck-knife. I got an F-4 from drangerer here on the forums and it is awesome, almost too pretty to carry...

BladeArt is out of the Chipmonk, I called to buy one.

Chiro, you have mail.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, I'm still evaluating all of the models suggested.

I'll probably end up with 4 or 5 of them

Also, I forgot about this little beauty:

$90 I think is the new price now though.

I agree with db and copfish. I usually carry my F4 on a short chain in my pocket but out of five neck knives I own, it's the only one I ever wear around my neck.

The real beauty is...you get to pick your steel. Mine is BG-42.

Michael and Del at Running Dog make some great little knives, but none this small (that I know of, not yet anyway

So I suppose you don't want to sell it to me

I may by it and a Chipmonk, I got an e-mail from Allen about it and asked him how long to make, still waiting to hear back. I think I'm too impatient to wait on a custom though!

You talkin' to me? You...talkin' to me!? Hey, I'm the only one on this page, you gotta be talkin' to ME!

If you are talking to me....no.

Sorry. It is the sweetest little fixed blade I own...and darned purty too. Worth the wait...

I'm suprised no one has suggested the Emerson LaGriffe..

Any thoughts on it?

Chipmunk, definitely a Chipmunk.

That little knife is tough, and very little...
