Sub 4" club carry

I've tried many times to edc a small fixed blade, and it just seems much more inconvenient than a folder.

Small note on the Bodega and the unsharpened portion in front of the choil. Hate it. I never really carry it anymore for this reason. Drives me crazy when it gets hung up while trying to cut something, and it doesn't add any benefits to the knife. For me anyway.

If we are talking sub 4 inch folders there are too many amazing options to even mention.

I thought the point of this thread was to talk about fixed bladesn under 4".

I like seeing real carry expensive (even one off) folders as edc's. As beautiful as they are, and as hard to get as they might be, yet you still have this beauty on your hip. Part of the reason I love me some blade forums.
A year ago a high end carry was a BM Griptillian, now thanks to you guys its CRK/XM/Sng... not sure where to go from here :$

Hi, they are good little knives and I say little because the blade is much shorter then my other folders. The black one is spring assisted which is always satisfying to deploy. The Cocobolo one is a safe queen that I've been trying to sell for ages. The build quality is good but not in the same class as say the Bodega.

^^ how are those Wilson Tactical folders?

Beautiful Dalibors, Adian. If you and zmbhntr keep this picture posting up, I'm going to end up hurting my wallet very soon. I can't wait until he opens his books again!

I spoke to him a few weeks ago and he's going to do similar to what Mosier does, he will post up a blade for sale and the person to contact based on the stipulations (3rd email, first I want it, etc) versus opening his books up for orders. He said he would post up when he is going to start doing the new process. I need an Unnamed and the new design that has a blade profile similar to my 1 of 2 Mosiers

The secondary market on his stuff has gone crazy.

What is the purpose of a knife if not to carry it is the way I see it. My Mosier is a 1 of 2 and is the most expensive of my collection followed by the integral Castor and they get carried all the time. It's a shame for a tank of a blade like a Dalibor to sit in a safe (same can be said for Busse)

In North Carolina all fixed blades, regardless of length have to be carried in plain sight, not concealed. Your CCW permit covers a handgun only in NC and does not cover a knife. You can carry a folder concealed provided the blade folds into the handle. There are a couple of cities that restrict the carry of a folder to around a 3" blade.

The good news is that there is no restriction on the blade length for open carry.

Would carry the Busse BAD out of choice but since it's a fixed blade and has to be out in the open the Cold Steel Ultimate hunter or Cold Steel Broken Skull folders are better options for EDC.
The Cold Steel broken skull is extremely thin and light and a perfect EDC option.

In an Ideal world (or in Post Zombie Apocalypse) these 2 would be my favorite Combo to EDC lol

...but as it is, with Pesky knife laws and what not, i have to settle for a PM2 lol

Fixed lade EDC under 4": Swamp Rat Rodent 3 or the White River Knives GTI 3. Both are great in hand and don't seem to make the "general public" tooo nervous when carried. Not that it's fun from time to time.

I've been carrying my MS-E LE since I got it from Busse. But I recently picked up a SAR 3 off the exchange and that's my new love. I always have a folder too, my PM2 sees the most action. I also would love to get a Dalibor integral like zmbhntr's, but I won't pay the secondary markup. I guess for now I'll be happy with my Praetorian T at about 1/4 of the $, I know it's not the same but it's still pretty beastly.

I only carry folders on me during the day. Depending on where I am, there is a 6 to 8 inch blade within reach, for the most part. I carry what I feel like, and carry it like I'm in a prohibitive environment always. I always have a Vic Classic, Waiter, and Leatherman Wave for the different levels of sheeple. When among friends or cohorts, I'll use whatever I want.
