Goodday all

If i could steal 5 mins of your time, i would be very greatful.

So i purchased my first Busse several weeks ago a Pork Shank, now if im honest ive always been in two minds in regards to Busse knives the words "Over Built" comes to mind, but after 13 years of collecting ive found my first perfect knife .. So i now need a second Busse . Im looking at something with a 6" blade or just under, with a slight drop point, Something along the lines of the Boss Jack Proto

So any idea's would be a great help

A couple favorite sub 6" are the CABS LE, and a Cultie

Cheers Guys ... I was looking too the BJ LE

Is there a big difference between the BJ LE and the SAR6, i do like a Choil

I cant see myself ever owning or using an ASH-1 its just toooo Busse :D

I like the BJLE over the SAR6, cause the BJ is lighter.
The BJLE is my favorite all around user, so I am biased;)

You can get a BJ LE with a choil. That was an option when it was available from Busse.

I'm also with Al, Gus and Russ - BJLE is a perfect choice in 6" category! Light yet sturdy enough, with very comfortable handle - especially for people with smaller hands, as the handles are not too thick.
BTW azwelke makes awesome sheaths for this knife!
Here's mine - a choiless one, but they were also made with choil (actually much more of them were made with choils)

I am waiting on the smaller TLGB. I really like the design and the current is a bit long for my needs..

The Boss Jack is a great knife but the handles are small so if you have big hands you might want to think about liners.

All of the knives listed above are great choices. Good luck with your search. Be sure to post pics once you have made a decision.

One of my fav's is the Boss Street! Feels awesome in the hand and is tough enough to open a vault door!

Imo the best 6 inch Busse ever made is the NO/E then again I think the Ergo series in general are the best knives Busse has ever made.

I'm also interested in a mid-sized Busse in the 5-5.5" max range, same rough size as the RMD. I really hate Texas knife laws....
