Sub Hilt by the Bump Team

Wow, turned out great. Can't wait to see pics once everyone else has added their touches.

Hi guys, I'm back. I would also like to compliment Bruce & Mike on a beautiful piece of work ---- but. what else would you expect. I'm honored to be able to help with this project as well as Bruce allowing me to do the scratching.

Such a classic design, and Bruce and his son seem to have done a beautiful job with their take.. It looks awesome from the photo's.. Well Done Bruce ..
Best, Rich

Often, on a Loveless tribute knife, there are aspects that immediately show the distinctions to the real thing. On this one: Not so evident. Truly a masterpiece of design and execution.

Ken's work, as well as Paul's, are capable of equaling the Bump's quality, and hence, the whole piece elevates.

Nicely done. :)

Just thought I'd bring this thread back to the top so that folks that didn't get to see wonderful knife, got the chance.

Thanks much for the compliments guys.

This is the knife Mike and I made and raffled it off over on Knifedogs forum. Some of you guys followed a couple threads from here to there and bought tickets for it. I thank you for that as the money has gone to a very good cause. Its a church raffle and wasnt allowed on Bladeforums so I didnt feel right about advertising a raffle here. Anyway we made just under $3000 at $5 per ticket. The proceeds went to Blossem Gardens Orphanage in Jamaica for playground equipment to surprise the 65+ children there for Christmas. There is a WIP thread that went along with the raffle. If interested please click on: http://knifedogs.com/showthread.php?t=1911
Ken Hurst is engraving it as we speak and as soon as he is done I want to send it to Coop for a worthy image. Paul Long has made the sheath and it came out beautiful as expected.
Again, Thank You for looking and also for your support.

We are all glad to see you are back Ken. The knife looks fantastic so far. I am really curious to see what Ken adds to the knife with his engraving.
