Hello friends, here I show you this knife, it is an integral sub hilt fighter made from a steel block D2. will see in the pictures part of the process and then the finished knife. The same sheet is 230 mm with 8 mm thick, the total length is 380 mm. The cape is made of curly birch stabilized with black fiber spacers and stainless steel hollow rivets.
Greetings! Claudio

Great job and a beautiful example of an integral knife.......well done.

The handle looks a bit squared to me, but I know what it takes to build an integral subhilt : congratulations ! This knife makes you join a very small bunch of makers : Ricardo Velarde, Dietmar Kressler, Karl-Heinz Koob, Edmund Davidson, Fabrizio Silvestrelli and Richard Spitzl. They all made at least one integral subhilt.

Claudio, outstanding work! I am a huge fan of integrals and this one is really well done. A subhilt integral is on my to-do list, someday.

Thank you very much, was my first sub hilt and really gave a lot of work. Luckily I am very happy owner.
Claudio.
