For sale!
A Sub-hilt Fighter.
$350 shipped with sheath. Post here or message me to claim her... shipping will be a couple of days as I am waiting on a new forge stamp to mark her with.

Been doing some very utilitarian work lately so decided to put something out with a bit more flare....

This sub-hilt fighter is dressed in brass, with buffalo horn upper and book matched zebra wood lower scales. She has an 8" blade and a 5" handle and is hand forged from Aldo's 1084 which was heat treated in an isothermal quench and temper (i.e. low temp salt bath) making her a 58RC with a 50/50 Bainite/Martensite structure.

I believe a purpose built fighter should have a little extra thickness in the spine to endure the rigors of battle and field use so didn't take her to quite a full flat grind... but she still has a keen edge, as you can see from the shave test I did. (can only add 5 pics per post so next post will show)
