I got an AUS8 version, I'm not an steel freak but I really like the upgrade form 420J, I'll post my first impressions and comments after some use

Knifecenter carries them, and now NGK is carrying them also. There are other places as well.

Hmmmmm, this late in the game, that MIGHT just be an old picture of the 1st Gen SF. The steel is marked AUS8 so maybe if folks order from NGK, perhaps they could check the blade?
