hello together,

built and sold this summer, but not yet shown here:

TORUK, the last shadow

during the forging and carving of the guard (a felt eternity) I tried to remember, wherefrom I had that shape
but didn´t cheque it...
finally my cerebral searching tool (a very old system and never upgraded......) nailed it:
in ´AVATAR` I saw that huge banjee ´TORUK´ with those forward looking bone-excesses over and under the skull...

some specs:
W1 forged, clayhardened
wrought iron
stab. walnut
total 40cm
blade only 26,5cm
thickness 6,5-2,5mm

I don´t hope, that anyone will see this knife as his last shadow...
be cautious looking at it...

gerhard

Very nice Gerhard! This is one best sub hilts I have seen in a while, great work.

Another exceptional knife Gerhard.

The "flow" you consistently achieve is exceptional.

That is a beautiful piece of walnut and the guard design is fantastic. Nice sheath too!

Thanks for showing it,
Peter

What a wonderful piece, I love my two that I have already, would not mind a subhilt!

Looking at this knife made me late for a meeting with my boss. But it was worth it.

Gorgeous!

Very handsome piece with great flow. Sheath is very clean and neat with nice guard integration. Nice package.

Gerhard, great piece ...... love the guard and handle the best. This knife would make you Toruk Makto ........... kinda.

Marcel

thank you all for your kind words,
I´m glad you like this ´a bit special´ knife!

Very nice. Looks like Gerhard is making a run for an award in an upcoming thread, again.

Chris
