Impossible to get Park 5o anymore. I live 2 miles from Houghton headquarters and can get 5 gallons at a time. If anybody has experience with their products what is adequate subsitiute for Park 50. From their website it appears that 3440c and Quench K are their fast quench oils. Appreciate any experienced help.

Just ask for the fastest oil. It will be almost as fast as Park's 50.

The K is their product most like Parks 50, afik. The only way to get faster quench from them is to use their polymer stuff.

I use quench k, Ive never used Parks so I cant really compare them but the K is a Hell of alot faster than mineral oil I used in the past, I really like it alot.
