Subway Bowie

I had the same "I think I may need this" reaction when I saw it in Blade Show videos.

The original "Subway Bowie"...made for me by Fred Perrin while visiting him in Paris in 1999. (I had no idea until he presented it as a surprise one afternoon.) I called it "Le Metro" in honor of the Parisian subway system. Carried around the neck, or in pocket, depending upon the occasion.

I would pay a little more for a nicer handle material, if its really cheap though.......

First of all, I need another knife like I need a size 12 boot in the ass. Secondly, it will probably be priced over my arbitrary limit for knife expenditures.
Yeah right, I'll probably buy one anyway.

Yeah, I would like a nice handle material and a visible full tang like the Street Beat, but I will take it! I love my Street Beat, but it is a hair too large for me to comfortably carry, this should hit the sweet spot for me.

It's not just a "little more". We're paying high tooling costs so you can get the piece at a more reasonable price.

I do understand that, especially nowadays, maybe a Sprint run in the future. I bet they would sell. Most people buy for the utility of the knife, but there are many like me that also appreciate the aesthetics as well.

This will be an instant purchase for me when it hits the street. Love Perrin designed fixed blades in any size.

I like the handle, I'd like to see a false edge and taco style sheath.
I hope that reasonable price means noticeably less than 100$, 70$ maybe?
This. Its really crying out for that swedge. Hollow grind would be sweet as well. Since I have the Beat and Bowie, Id love to add one to my collection either way. The Subway will probably carry a little easier strapped to my vest than the Beat I have there now.

Took a year, since the 2021 Blade Show, to get it into the Reveal 10 Catalog? Wonder how long it will take to actually "see/touch/buy" one.

Doesn't matter to me because I don't like neck knives but, for those who do, don't hold your breath. LOL! ;)

The first time I got a Street Bowie in hand convinced me I have no further need for Perrin designs. I still get it out and try to like it from time to time. Still no luck.

Love mine but the sheath broke already, cracked down the spine. great blade but trash sheath and for the cost they want me to eat in shipping ( why don’t they cover return shipping on their own flawed products??) across countries I’m just going to make my own kydex cheaper and better.
