Successful Hunt Son's first Elk

Each trip is a learning time. Next time we go there will be different gear and more knives. A larger knife for fire starting like my Bk 12, and a small camp ax. And a 16 and probably a 14. Also an Old Hickory and Green River for food slicing in the cabin... Also different layout to the packs.... Maybe take a horse or 2. For us, the planning and preparing provides fun for months ahead of time.... I am glad others can get some enjoyment from the pictures... You are welcome.

You are fortunate indeed, what terrific scenery. :eagerness: Thanks for taking us along, that is quite the trophy to boot!!
