Such Difficulty Deciding! Knife or Flashlight?!

It's important to have both. In terms of lights, I'm a real fan of Fenix PD20-180 lumens, and PD30-220 lumens (the one and two cell 123 lithiums), and the Olight M21 tatical light with 500 lumens. The Olight is in th $90 range, the Fenix $40-60. I have all three, and carry depending on the situation.
Cant go wrong with either.

You know your going to end up getting both, so get em both. If your tight on money. Get the flash light first and use it to look under the couch, under cushions, under the car seat for money to get the knife.:D

Get a higher power LED drop-in for that 6P and get a Buck Vanguard - 192, for wood handle & leather sheath - 692 for rubber & nylon.

Well the reason I was looking at the TK12 is that, like my Fenix P3D, it has multiple modes and can do things like strobe.

The Surefire's that I have a nice but I wish they had a few more functions.

For the record, I've also now placed both my Surefire Z2 and 6P up for sale so if you're interested, go have a look see!

I finally got a nice flashlight (Fenix tk 11). After only using maglights, you should have seen the look on my face when I turned it on!

In that price range, you can get an Ontario Ranger RD 4. Its not the best knife, but its beefy and decent for the price (at least it has in my limited experience with it). No kydex sheath - Nylon with a hard insert.

For me it would really depend on what you're using them for. I personally almost never really use fixed blades unless I'm hiking or camping which doesn't happen that frequently. On the flip side, if I already have 2-3 solid lights, how much will I be using the TK12? Plus, it's on the big side for me to EDC. If neither are really needed and are really just there for my enjoyment, I'd pick which ever one I'd probably play with most during down times. For me, that would probably be the knife. I use my EDC light much more often, but I play with my knives a lot more.

Interesting. If I got a fixed blade, it would be for camping or hiking. I'm probably going to end up getting a flashlight for now as I work in nightclubs on the weekends and I prefer to have my own equipment if possible.

The fixed blade would be used for both camping purposes and carried once in a while on a mercharness in the city when I work certain gigs. That's the cause for the size restriction.

You may want to consider a few of the Helle brand fixed blades.
