Sucking The Soul Right Out Of An HI Blade

The Kamis give a blessing to the khukuris that they not be drawn in anger.

munk said that at the beginning of the thread and I've been mulling over this for a few days....

This may be the reason I love my chit-but...it's missing "something"

What do I mean? well, simply put I know I not only will draw my chosen edged weapons in anger, but I know I will draw my edged weapons to end some being's life within my lifetime.

And that's all I want to say about that.

My khuk collection will be small anyway as I'm only getting what I need to be ready, the khuk's I buy won't be for fighting after hearing this-pity.

As of now I have one good sword and am looking for another;then I'll need some good knives to go with/back up the swords.

munk-thank you for telling about the blessing-it helps.

Remember-
this is the traditional work and fighting knife of Nepal. The Gurkhas carry them. The people had khuks when they fought off the British in 1812.

When the Kamis bless not in anger, that does not mean that a khuk is not ready, willing, and able to defend home and heart. A little rightieous anger is not the same thing. Stupidly pulling it, bringing mortality to a mere argument, exploding in anger and making a move in a second you'd spend a lifetime regretting and paying for- that is what in my heart I know the Kamis are warding off.

My humble opinion from the munk book of wuu wuu mysticism.

All is as we want it to be .

Yes.

If you believe that then it very likely will come to pass. I sure hope it doesn't for your sake.

Has anyone seen the film "what the bleep do you know?" Very interesting stuff. Basically Quantum Physics is saying the same thing that spiritual/mystical/wuu wuu people have been saying for god knows how long..---that our intent quite literally influences (creates) our reality. Both in the sense that we perceive what we believe we can see, not see to believe. And that our intent actually determines the outcome of events.

Rent it and tell me what you think--I'm really curious to see what others think of it. I'm only half way through it and hope to finish it tonight...

Sort of like "Wherever ya go, there ya are." or always finding what you are looking for in the last place you look for it. ;)
