Suffered my first Spyderco lose.

I thought about a metal detector but I don't have access to one. If I wait until spring chances are someone will find it. No big deal. At least the found a great knife!

And my Para2 is on it's way. I just got the confirmation email!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Man, that absolutely sucks, I know how it feels to lose a knife and it is not fun... I kick myself to this day for losing an Umnumzaan at my cottage while I was hunting and last week I got my gold grip in m4 confiscated from opp because it was considered to be a switchblade... Currently edcing a delica, waiting for a para military 2 in digicamo... No more expensive knife carry for me

You should consider the Sage I also. Both the Para2 and Sage will make you forget all about that Delica :D

*UPDATE*

My Delica has been found! Went back to the park yesterday and scoured the area since most of the snow melted and noticed it poking out of the ground in a dirty pile of snow. It was a bit dirty but after a breakdown and thorough cleaning it is as good as new.

And.....

My Para2 came in the mail yesterday as well.

Yay me. :)

Dude! Glad to here you found it!! I wish I could find my Salt 1 but I lost it off the coast of South Carolina. I loved my Salt 1, served me well when I was a lifeguard...

good thing about losing a blade is replacing- i lost a protech tr-3 at work engraved with my LE logo and name. it sucked a fat one. but after some compulsive buying i have a para mili- black blade/camo, SS D-fly, then a ESEE Izula, Izula II now. sadly those are close to what i paid for the protech alone :barf: I need to get a Spyderco Citadel to get back in the auto fix.

Only lost 2 in 16 years of carrying a spyderco.

A salt 1 and a dragonfly. Sorry to say, you'll never forget the ones your lose...

Always a sad day when you lose your favorite Spydie. If it's any consolation....years ago, I "misplaced" an old, first generation Endura, and it miraculously appeared three months later in a small pile of leaves behind the recycling bins. But for a slight freckling of rust on the blade, she was none the worse for the adventure. Incidentally, the rust wiped right off, and has never shown its face again.

I hope you have the same luck, Ken !
