Suggest a good, cheap, stockman

Good and cheap: Try a Rough Rider Stockman. One can be had for <$20.00 if you just want to try one without spending too much. (I did, and I EDC one now). Hope this helps.

They are.

Either the Buck or the vintage Schrade would be great for your purpose- I recommend you GET BOTH:cool:

The Case is a bit longer. I've had one since I was eight (seven years) and its still sharp. Very good knife.
