Is the Kopa really too big? The blade is slightly over 2", but cutting edge is under 2". It's a very slick, very attractive knife with excellent utility. The nice thing about the Kopa is that even though it's small, it fits the hands nicely due to the design and 50/5o choil. Too expensive though, perhaps?ginshun said:those are all too big.
I am talking little pen knife. Jester and Ladybug are probalby the only spydercos that are an option
Cricket maybe
How about a Kershaw Ken Onion/Frank Centrofante? 2" blade, assisted opening, extremely sharp, very utilitarian wharncliffe blade. The knife itself doesn't have a clip, but comes with a nice leather slip sheath that does have a clip. The 440A blade won't win any edge-holding competitions, but it works well enough, and is easy to sharpen. However, if you're worried about your dad breaking the tip of an Al Mar Osprey (another very nice, small knife), this might not be the right knife for him either.
A.G. Russell Funny Folder? Actually, A.G. Russell makes quite a few classy, small, locking knives. Look at the Gent's Lockbacks and Mini Lockbacks too.
If you can find one, a Benchmade 335 Big Spender (money clip knife) might fit the bill (pun intended).
