I would try Kizer knives. they have lots of nice S35VN/Titanium framelocks right in that price range. anythink from sleek/minimalist to giant and outlandish. for an office environment maybe something like

I will only go tip up. It's what the ladies prefer.

My favorite EDC is the Spyderco PM2, next favorite is the Spyderco Manix 2. My favorite non-spyderco would be the older Benchmade 913 Stryker, or the more current version with is the 908.

Spyderco Pacific salt in Yellow (or RIT dyed to something else of your preference with an aftermarket deep carry clip.

I'd go serrated and it also has a PE tip.
