I was wondering what thickness do you recomend for W2 at about a 12-13" blade?
I should be working on learning how to really forge but I couldn't help myself so I hammered out a big chunk of W2 (I still have a lot of hammering to do).
And when I say "hammered" that would be about an accurate description. I would say what Tai and many other on here do is forging! Me I am beating steel as flat as I can and filing off the rest.
I really need to find a knife maker around Fort Smith and see if I can get some hands on help!
