Suggestion for next production Native

In case Sal's interested, I haven't ordered the new 3D Native yet because I'm waiting for the Spyderco Forum Native. If I don't like that new wire clip (I have it on a Meerkat and it is too tight a clip for my tastes), I'll not get the regular 3D (instead I need to pick up the latest S30V Native, which I don't have). But I definitely want the "ABB" Forum 3D for my collection! I'm just a sucker for colored plastic.

I do plan to pick up both the shell inlay Natives some day, too. Just gotta watch the $$ right now. Oh yeah, the CF Delica, the Ronin, the Spyderhawk and a few others are on the list. So what's new? :(

SAL, CAN YOU HOLD OFF WITH THE NEW BLADES FOR AWHILE UNTIL I CATCH UP? :p

Except for the MBC/Large Native, of course! I'll manage that one way or another...:)

Oh yeah, question: Do I have to be a member of the Spyderco Forum in order to order a Spydie Forum Native when they're ready?

It's been a while since I posted here but this seems a good thread for a comeback :). I stopped carrying my BF Native for EDC because it just wasn't sheeple friendly enough. The pronounced swedge makes it look like a double-edged blade and I got too many negative comments from non-knife people. Otherwise the Native was one of my favourite knives and I'm really looking forward to the 3D Native with its smaller swedge. I was going to suggest a full flat grind for the Native but I can see Sal's point (no pun intended) about the tip strength coming from the meeting of the grind lines.
 
A Native with a Full Flat Grind in s30v would go a long way toward making me get over the discontinuation of the dear, departed, Calypso Jr.

I love the Calypso and Calypso Jr.-I have 6 of them. They may not have sold well, but it's not because I wasn't doing my part.
