Okay i'm done with trying to get custom knives for the next few decades anyone have a idea of what companies make the best tactical (black blade, synth sheath and handle) bowie knife, combat knife, and dagger?

Depends.

How tall is the guy you are planning to kill? Does he wear body armor? What time of day will you be doing the job? Basic black is always fashionable for evening wear.

Best is subjective.

Zero Tolerance is hard to beat.

Benchmade Adamas.

Benchmade also makes some fixed blades that are worth a look.

SOG is respected for their fixed blades.

Cold Steel has a wide range of fixed blades, but they may not all be what you're looking for.

Gerber's Applegate/Fairbarn folder is an option.

Further up the spectrum you have Spartan Blades, and many others I can't recall right now.

Hope that's a start.

It's actually kind of funny that Spartan is a step up, considering it and the CS have similar prices with the larger knives.

Benchmade, Entrek, ZT , Spartan. That's also priced lowest to highest, all great knives and made in the USA

thank you for not trolling. what would you say is the best combat knife?

All kidding aside, what do you plan to use it for? Are you military? Most folks looking for a "tactical knife" are either military, collectors, or mall ninjas.

In all seriousness, if you are planning on getting it for SD I'd highly recommend getting training first. Knives are not the best choice of weapons in most cases, and especially in the hands of someone not trained.

The Gerber Yari 2 . I just got this knife about a week ago I really did not wanted I just got because it came withe the deal I made . But to my surprise the knife is an AWSOME knife . Great tactical fix blade .

In addition to what I said above the Al Mar sere operator 2000 is a great knife although its not black

lets consider me a man angered by how hard it is to get what i want therefor i give up. cant get a cool native tradehawks or knives, cant find someone who makes decent african weapons, no one makes a neat forged machete, nobody makes cool western style sheaths! So i'm giving up. Hand me the overpriced cookie cutter tactical stuff. maybe people are right maybe i really need a weapon for historians to dig up and go "OH MAH GOD IT STILL WORKS" as they chuck their laser pistols and swing around my shrike hawk.

so i guess that makes me a collector

Got one. Love it.

As for answers, well, is this for taking out sentries or establishing dominance over suburbia or ??? I mean, I really like the Buck Nighthawk in all its beautiful variations, but the CRKT Ultima (especially the discontinued 7" version) has a certain charm. Neither is the "best" once you crack the triple-digit price point, but I personally don't usually spend that much with tactical use in mind. After all, I'm not an operator . . . although I suspect there will be a new ZT 0180 in my future.

(Otherwise, how about the Boker Plus Armed Forces fixed blade? Sure, it's only 440C, but it's just stupidly huge with lots of cutting surface.)
