Suggestion for the Folks at CRK that many on other forums would agree with me on.

My thoughts precisely, slide13 and K.V. Collucci.

The Sebbie is what it is today because there are those of us who appreciates its unique lines.

I "wear" the my Sebbies for dress occasions -- if I wanted something "tactical," I could hust as easliy pull our my Striders or Extrema Ratios.

anonymous, what you're asking for is not a Sebenza any more, it's a different knife, with a different name.

Would I love for that kind of folder to be offered by CRK? Certainly !

But it would not be a Sebbie.

Any "Modern Classic" is what it is because its patrons admires its inherent qualities. The Porche 911 line is a prime example.

Change its looks, layout, etc., and it is no longer a 911.

OK, now I read both threads and answered the other :D Here's another point: as some have pointed out, the last major design change was from the classic to the current regular frame. That was arguably a change in the direction away from tactical sleekness to a more utilitarian outline.

Well... maybe that's why so many of us like it? Plain design & great cutter - benza it a working knife...

Because it has beautiful lines, perfect function and is not too flashy as to attract undue attention. It's a knife you can carry and work with every day indoors and outdoors without feeling like a cartoon character or some ninja wannabe. Nothing against other designs if that what floats your boat but this is a serious piece of pocket steel. It has a very functionally shaped blade and handle that sits very nice in the pocket. Don't change a thing. Just my opinion. I can understand others liking different designs. Different strokes...........
